Pensa Labs, maker of the D.I.Wire, the first and only benchtop CNC wire bender, is seeking a qualified, experienced sales engineer who has experience in B2B direct sales. We are are looking to elevate our business to the next level with the recent launch of our D.I.Wire Pro and D.I.Wire Plus.
Sales Engineer candidates should be ready to take on all sales responsibilities from generating leads to closing sales. Our ideal candidate will strive to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations. Candidates must appreciate the fast pace of a start-up, and work quickly to deliver high quality, relevant solutions to the customer.
Learn the technical details concerning how our hardware and software work together and what problems they solve for our customers.
Understand the product and customer profile for different verticals, and develop a sales plan.
Respond to leads with a quote and follow-up to close the sale.
Set and achieve sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Log reasons for sales won or lost in CRM, and produce reports for R&D and the team.
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
Create frequent reports of sales leads.
Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.

Generate new high quality leads
Plan and execute trade shows and events, including distributor events.
Work closely with our collaborative engineering and customer success team to support an exceptional customer experience.
Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, and communicate these issues with the rest of the team.
Develop and ensure best practices to create a highly efficient sales organization
Thrive in an entrepreneurial start-up environment. Strong self-direction, self-motivation and eager mindset
Have 3+ years of experience in sales role.
Track record of superior performance metrics.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong decision making skills.
Have a degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
Experience in direct sales & marketing.
Strong organizational skills.
Understanding of customer segmentation
CRM experience - Saleforce expertise a big plus.
Advanced spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets)
Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to work in small teams and influence senior staff is essential.
Ability to travel to tradeshows, events and visit customers.
